How bloodlines work right now

  • Bloodlines are a new Sea 2 system.
  • Bloodline Stone item icon in Sailor PieceBloodline Stones come from any Sea 2 NPC and do not drop from Sea 1 NPCs, with Sea Beasts acting as the strongest currently captured route.
  • There is no separate Bloodline NPC right now because you use Bloodline Stone item icon in Sailor PieceBloodline Stones directly from your inventory.
  • The current bloodline table is now clean enough to lock in exact stats for the 14 tracked entries on this page.
  • Sparda is a Legendary bloodline with +37% Damage, +6% Damage Reduction, +27% Luck, +7% Melee Damage, +7% Sword Damage, and +40% Max Health.
  • The older Cosmic entry has been removed because the corrected table shows Primordial instead.
  • The full bloodline list is now tracked on this page, with Legendary pity at 250 and Mythical pity at 750.

How Demonic, Empyrean, and Doombringer tick

BloodlineTriggerHow to read it
Demonic20% chance per hitEach hit can roll the passive. When it procs, it triggers +30% Damage and 10% slow, then waits on a 5-second cooldown. Multi-hit skills are strong here: a 12-hit move has about a 93.1% chance to proc at least once before cooldown, using 1 - 0.8^12.
Doombringer20% chance per skill useEach skill use gets one roll. If it procs, you deal 20% more damage for 8 seconds. Extra hits inside that skill do not add more trigger rolls.
EmpyreanStacks per damage tickEach damage tick adds +0.15% Damage, stacking up to +15% total. Long fights and fast ticking damage build this value fastest.

Primordial+27% Damage, +5% Damage Reduction, +15% Luck Multi, +10% Melee Damage Multi, +15% +1 Drop Chance, +40% Max HPPrimordial remains a strong melee and farming backup, but Ghoul now owns the checked grinding slot and Empyrean remains the stronger pure melee route.

Current route notes

  • Empyrean is the current melee-first target and can still compete in sword builds because its stacking damage passive and broad stat line are not locked to one weapon type.
  • Demonic is the current sword-first target because its passive rolls on hits, so multi-hit sword skills get more chances to trigger it.
  • Doombringer remains the top skill-use sword burst alternative, with higher visible Damage and Luck Multi than Demonic but only one passive roll per skill use.
  • Ghoul is the current best grinding bloodline because it combines effective +22.5% Luck Multi with a confirmed 20% chance for +1 drop.
  • Primordial remains the older grinding backup if you already own it, but it no longer sits above Ghoul for farming.
  • When comparing these passives, judge the trigger type first: Empyrean stacks through damage ticks, Demonic rolls on hits, and Doombringer rolls when the skill is used.
  • Demonic should be judged beside Doombringer and Astral because its passive materially changes the sword comparison.
  • Astral still holds a premium slot because it remains a very strong older sword bloodline , especially now that its Mark effect is directly readable.
  • Dawnbringer and Nightfall remain strong mid-high options because both rows keep useful combat stats without wasting lines on weak filler bonuses.
  • Hunter, Vizard, and Stormborn are still useful depending on whether you care more about farming utility, gems, or XP support than pure combat caps.
  • This page should keep growing from direct tables and clean screenshots first, because those are much safer than rebuilding bloodlines from cropped menus.
